This river stone shows a muted gray surface with a fine sandy grain and was picked out of a stretch of landscaping rock for its near perfectly round shape.

Square copper wires cross the stone's face and gather into a woven bail at the top, while a loose cluster of open loops and a single tight spiral curl mark the right edge and center.

A row of tight copper coils binds the wires together at the base.
