Fine pale flecks scatter across this charcoal-gray stone, and the matte, gray surface is a contrasting backdrop for the copper wire. Nature formed this perfectly tumbled teardrop which was picked up on a Lake Superior shore.

A woven copper band sweeps down the face in an S-curve and winds into a tight coiled spiral near the base, while twisted square copper wires trace the outer edges. A woven strip cradles the bottom of the stone.

Above it all, a cascade of loose copper curls descends in front of the woven bail.
