This display is worked on a rough piece of granite picked up on a hike, its peach-tan grain flecked with black and banded in plum-red across the lower half.
Strands of copper twist together into the trunk, catching light along the tight wrap at its curve before loosening into wavy roots, while the branches zigzag across the granite.
